These 12 cards are a range of simple patterns children can create with their finger or a stick in a tray of glitter/salt or coloured sand. They can also be used as a design to follow with small loose parts . They will support their fine motor skills and mark making development.
9 Gingerbread Men all with different coloured buttons. Use these mats to develop fine motor skills. Have a selection of different coloured pom poms or buttons for the children to sort using tweezers or a peg. They would be great to use around Christmas time or when baking Gingerbread Men.
6 mats to sort pom poms. Each colour represnts a planet or element of space.
They will encourage discussions about space, naming the different planets, sorting and counting.
3 different designs (6 jumpers). Each design is in both red and green with white patterns.
Use loose parts to follow the patterns on the winter jumper or use as a tracing activity with whiteboard pens.
10 Snowmen with the numeral on their hat and Numicon piece, made from buttons on their tummy.
Cut out the hats and snowmen and match the two. They could also be used with loose parts to lay over the buttons.
